The Black Boar Inn is located in the heart of beautiful Ogunquit, Maine and is mere steps from numerous fine restaurants, art galleries, shopping, tours/excursions, theatre and exciting nightlife. We are a five to ten minute walk from one of the most beautiful, sandy beaches on the east coast of Maine and a ten minute walk to the renowned and rocky Marginal Way.
The Town of Ogunquit offers visitors great experiences all year long. Summer Festival activities include the Independence Day Fireworks on July 4th and the Annual Sidewalk Art Show and Sale in late August. Autumn Festival activities feature OgunquitFest in late October as well as the Celebrations by the Sea Wedding Expo. Winter Festival activities include the Christmas by the Sea Celebration in mid-December and the Annual Mardi Gras Weekend in February. Spring Festival activities include the Annual Patriots Day Weekend Celebration in April and the Southern Maine AIDS Walk in May.
